Barbara Sansone

A former educator, magazine photographer and passionate traveler, Barbara Sansone launched her travel company Original World (formerly Spirit of India), after a 13-year career in Public Relations for arts and culture.  Initially focused on unique insider tours of India, the company expanded its offerings to include Tibet, Nepal, Burma, Bhutan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, China, and Mongolia.

With a growing client base interested in other hand-crafted experiences, Barbara developed tours to other parts of the world, continuing to include elements of adventure and mystique, including Central and Eastern Europe: Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, Turkey, Middle East: Egypt, Jordan, Arabian Peninsula and Africa: Morocco, Ethiopia, Sudan and South Africa.
 Barbara envisions the company as a synthesis of personal, educational and cultural experiences co-evolving with her community of committed travellers.

Barbara launched the online blog Original World Insights in 2013 to bring the unique, informed travel experiences her company to readers worldwide.  It features the work of  experienced travel writers who share the Original World ethos, and committed travellers whose writing and photography will bring you On the Road with them.

Brad Olsen’s passion for travel goes far beyond his eight currently published travel books. He has ventured into new territory with his latest book release “Future Esoteric: The Unseen Realms.” As a professional writer, artist, photographer, producer, and publisher, Brad Olsen wears many hats and enjoys the challenge. When it comes to extensive world travel, few in the business have the “on the road” experience he has acquired. Brad visited 21 countries in 2004 while researching his new book on sacred sites in Europe, and has been to over 50 countries in his lifetime.

Brad has written over two dozen podcast tours for “Visual Travel Tours,” available as Kindle eBooks. He is also a Contributing Editor for ‘World Explorer” magazine. Brad Olsen has contributed to several Rough Guides titles, including the “World Party” book. In 1989 he founded Consortium of Collective Consciousness Publishing in San Francisco, the city where he resides.The company has produced ten book titles including “In Search of Adventure: A Wild Travel Anthology,” featuring 80 different authors. “Key to Solomon’s Key: Secrets of Magic and Moasonry” by Lon Milo DuQuette continues to sell through print runs. Judith recently won prestigious Society of American Travel Writers gold awards for the best magazine and newspaper articles of the year. Paul won this year’s Travel Classics award for best article written by a travel journalist. Judith and Paul are First and Second Vice Presidents of the Travel Journalists Guild.

Roberta Sotonoff is a travel junkie who writes to support her habit. More than 75 domestic and international newspapers, magazines, on-line sites and guidebooks have published her work. Usually, she can be found anywhere – in a plane feasting on pretzels, in the water exploring the deep, or on the ground chained to her computer. She also spends a lot of time destroying her body while doing things like swinging from jungle canopies and stumbling up and down mountains.

For nearly two decades, she has written about a variety of travel destinations, but her specialties are ecotourism, health spas, and soft adventure. She is contemplating compiling her humor features into a book, which her older daughter has titled, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Asylum.

As a chef, historian, travel writer and photographer Marc seeks out connections among places, people, their activities and what they eat that tell the stories of a region and a culture whether that be in the remote Andes Mountains or the streets of Philadelphia. He serves on the Board of Directors of the International Food, Wine and Travel Writers Association, a member of the American Culinary Federation and the International Travel Writers Alliance. Marc has lived in Puerto Rico and Nova Scotia and travels extensively and writes about southern South America, Southeast Asia, Europe, North America and southern Africa.
