Visas Waived for 80 Countries Traveling to Qatar

August of 2017 Qatar waived visa requirements for citizens of 80 countries. Travelers will get granted a multi-entry waiver will be issued free-of-charge at the port of entry, upon presentation of a valid passport with a minimum validity of six months and a confirmed onward or return ticket. Now touted as the “most open Country” Qatar is looking forward to allowing foreigners to visit the historic country, learn all it has to offer, and return home with a sense of ease to travel.

The United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and most of Asia and Europe are among the 80 countries that are allowed to visit Qatar without a prior visa. Countries not allowed to use this visa-free progam are able to get an e-visa by visiting www.qatarvisaservice.com, prior to departure.

Al Ibrahim, Chief Tourism Development officer at Qatar Tourism Authority is quoted as saying: “…we are delighted to invite visitors to discover our renowned hospitality, cultural heritage and natural treasures.” Many treasures await visitors who travel to Qatar. There are museums and galleries featuring ancient artifacts, several desert forts dating back many centuries, Ancient rock carvings have been discovered in eight separate locations, delightful mosques, stunning miles of pristine, smooth sand, and luxurious beach escapes.
